Companion Rules:

Whether the patient needs a companion is determined by the patient's doctor and the companion is limited to only one (1) person.

A magnetic card is delivered to the patient's companion in exchange for a signature by the secretaries where the patient is admitted to the hospital. The patient companion must carry this magnetic card around the neck. The responsibility of the card belongs to the companion and will only be used for the entry and exit of the companion. Entries and exits with magnetic cards are limited to 5 times per day. The magnetic card system is programmed to control the entrances and exits and does not allow any entry without exiting the hospital. When improper use of the card is detected, then the card is closed for use.

The change of companion is made between the hours 13:00 and 20:00. Changes of companion must be notified to the floor secretary and the change of companion must be approved via the automation system and introduced to the magnetic card.

During the hospitalization of your patient, the TV remote in the room and the attendant card must be handed over to the floor secretary or nurse upon discharge, with a signature.

Also, the patient rooms have sofa beds for the companions to rest.

For patient safety, patient rooms should not be locked while the patient or their companion is in the room. This rule is also applied in cases such as when the patient goes to surgery and examination.

Smoking is prohibited in all service areas of our hospital. Those who do not comply with these rules are fined in accordance with the law no. 4027.

To the extent that the patient's nurse allows the patient's care, the companions can also participate in the patient care. To prevent the risk of infection, hands should be washed or hand sanitizer should be used before and after touching the patient.

During the physician's visit, the attendants are required to wait in the waiting room during the visit when the rooms are requested to be vacated. If necessary, a companion can be invited during the visit. Companions who are allowed to stay by the physician can stay in the patient’s room.

Visitor Rules:

In emergency situations, visits may be limited when treatment may be restrained.

No more than two (2) visitors are allowed for each patient at the same time. The visit period should not exceed 15 minutes for the services.

In order to protect the health of babies and children under 10 years old, should not be brought more visitors.

To avoid the risk of infection, visitors should not sit on the patient beds or use the patient belongings. Hand sanitizer should be used when visitors enter and exit the patient room.

Smoking is prohibited in all service areas of our hospital. Those who do not comply with these rules are fined in accordance with the law no. 4027.

Risky foods such as raw vegetables and fruits and living or dried flowers are not accepted in the intensive care unit where the medical care and treatment of immunocompromised patients is carried out and in the risky areas where there is a risk of infection.

In cases that may be inconvenient for the patient's health, a visitor ban may be imposed on the patient and the visit may be subject to the doctor's permission.

No noise should be made for the health and service safety of our patients.

Our hospital is monitored with a 24-hour security camera. Our security guards are authorized to check any packages and intervene in any problems that may occur.

If you have a contagious disease such as flu or cold, you should not visit the patient.

In cases where patient hospitalization occurs outside visiting hours, a maximum of two patient relatives are allowed to assist the patient. Care should be taken to leave the room with the exception of a companion for 30 minutes following the hospitalization.

Visitors continuing to stay despite the end of the visit are informed in accordance with the courtesy rules that the visit has ended. If there are visitors who insist on staying or cause problems, the security guards evacuate the patient's room.
